Kalakshepams - Traditional Discourse

All knowledge has to be assimilated after studying with the help of a teacher, say the scriptures. This avoids the problems of printing mistakes in books, circumvents communication gaps and grants the good vibes of the teacher who always wishes that the students excel the teacher themselves.

More so, the abstract science of the soul- Philosophy - has to be necessarily learnt under the tutelage of a guru. Acharya katakasha - the good wishes and blessings of the acharya, is said to be the sole reason for spiritual progress. Being so, the masters of the Vishishtadvaita has also prescribed scriptural texts that have to be studied under the preceptor for a complete knowledge of the school of thought.

These texts are being disbursed in the traditional manner in this school of Vedanta. The prerequisites for the same are enforced. However, the explanations are kept lucid and pithy in order to be easy to practice the teachings of the texts. Texts Srimad Rahasyatrayam and chillarai rahasyam are being taught in this traditional mode now at this school.
